County Administrator Patrick Thompson introduced Child Support Administrator Chad
Wolske who explained the Excellence Award and introduced staff present: Gretchen

3. West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission Report - Ann Schell and Tobi
LeMahieu
Thompson introduced Ann Schell and Tobi LeMahieu from West Central Wisconsin
Regional Planning Commission (WCWRPC) who reviewed the commission's duties and
example of work done in St. Croix County. LeMahieu highlighted Regional Business Fund.

1. Appointment of County Board Supervisor District 7
Chair Larson explained the Notice of Vacancy for District 7 was published, posted and
provided to City of Hudson mayor and clerk. Chair Larson indicated two candidates
expressed interest in the position. One of the candidates withdrew her name. Chair Larson
introduced Sarah Yacoub who provided her background. Motion by Supr. Hansen, 2nd by
Supr. Berke to approve the appointment of Sarah Yacoub to County Board Supervisor
District 7. Chair Larson directed the County Clerk to republish and post the Notice of
Vacancy.

obtain input from the Public Health Department.

Supr. Sjoberg expressed concerns regarding ongoing contamination into water system and
requested consideration of the moratorium be on the August 1, 2017 County Board agenda.
Chair Larson referred this matter to the Community Development Committee.

COUNTY CLERK'S REPORT OF CORRESPONDENCE AND REZONING REQUESTS
County Clerk Campbell reminded board members of the upcoming WCA annual conference in
September.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thompson reported the Committee of Whole is scheduled to meet on July 18, 2017 at 5:00 PM.
Requests were considered to hold this meeting at the Highway Facility in Hammond.
Supr. Berke announced the St. Croix Valley PRCA Rodeo is June 16 and 17 at the Fairgrounds in
Glenwood City and is a fundraiser for the fair.
