Certificate of Appreciation in Recognition of Twenty Five Years of Membership Support of the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation - Bill Rubin, Executive Director, St. Croix EDC St. Croix Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Bill Rubin presented Chair Larson with a certificate of appreciation of 25 years of membership and support to the St. Croix County Economic Development Corporation. Wisconsin Department of Children and Families Letter of Recognition - Michelle Leccia, Children Services Supervisor Michelle Leccia, a supervisor in the St. Croix County Children Services Department explained the recognition received from the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families Department for successful efforts at completing and documenting caseworker contacts for children in out-of-home care. Financial Report for December 2018 Review of financial reports by County Administrator Thompson. RESULT: DISCUSSED BUSINESS 1. Certified Nursing Assistant Training Requirements Resolution Explanation by Vice-Chair Ostness. Health Center Administrator Sandi Hackenmueller explained the training requirements in the State of Wisconsin for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) is 120 hours compared to the Federal requirements of 75 hours. Supr. Moothedan argued there is no data proving Wisconsin requirements are a disadvantage when recruiting CNAs and there can still be a shortage to fill those positions. ANNOUNCEMENTS Thompson reminded the Committee of the Whole meeting is March 12th at 8:00 a.m. Strategic Planning is the topic. ADJOURNMENT 5:48 PM
