Resolution Amending Budget 2019 (1) Explanation by County Administrator Thompson showing the correction to the Health Insurance Fund to more accurately reflect how the fund operates. Resolution Updating County Board Rules and Bylaws Motion by Peterson, 2nd by Sjoberg to approve. Discussion regarding eliminating the chair to read public comments. Motion by Hansen, 2nd by Brinkman to amend the resolution to leave the public comment section as is and have the chair read public comments. Explanation by Corporation Counsel Scott Cox. Chair Larson confirmed a yes vote eliminates the change; a no vote keeps the suggested change. Vote on amendment failed: Yes - 4; No - 14 (Ayes: Schachtner, Malick, Hansen, Brinkman). Motion by Sjoberg, 2nd by Moothedan to amend the resolution to move all County Board regular monthly meetings to a 5:00 p.m. start time. Chair Larson confirmed a yes vote approves the amendment; a no vote keeps the current schedule the same. Vote on amendment failed: Yes - 6; No - 12 (Ayes: Endle, Miller, Sjoberg, Moothedan, Ostness, Brinkman) Fosterling asked for future consideration of meeting on Mondays. Cox stated he will send written updates. Achterhof commented on the 980 predator release situation in County Supervisor District 17 and stated she was not aware of it. Sjoberg requested reviewing Health Insurance funding sooner than later per former Supervisor Nordstrand's request. Sjoberg requested a report on the status of the current McGrath Study and related expenses. COUNTY CLERK'S REPORT OF CORRESPONDENCE AND REZONING REQUESTS None ANNOUNCEMENTS Ostness reported he, Health and Human Services Director Fred Johnson, Supervisors Malick and Feidler attended the Human Service Day at the Capitol in Madison and heard many positive comments.
