Brief review by County Administrator Witt. Witt reported the preliminary Net New
Construction estimate is 2.16% or $652,000 new revenues

3. Resolution Declaring an Emergency - Severe Storm/Tornado
Corporation Counsel Scott Cox reported on storms on July 28th and 29th parts of St. Croix
County caused structural damage, down power lines, down trees/branches and road debris
creating a disaster. County Board Chair Peterson signed a Proclamation Declaring a State
of Emergency before the State of Wisconsin declared a state of emergency. The State of
Wisconsin did declare a state of emergency for St. Croix County which is necessary for
certain funding. Cox recommended the County Board repeal the County's Declaration
of Emergency.
