BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Budget Review
Samuels Group reviewed the budget and most of the projects have bids as of April 2023.
There are a few items left to bid on and the bids will be within budget. If there are any
funds left over, Administrator Witt would like to discuss the other projects on the list.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. DOC Space
Administrator Witt discussed the leased space for the Department of Corrections (DOC)
project and it was rejected by the State Department Administration due to costs. The
space will not be completed to the specification design for the DOC.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Schedule Update
The Phase I for the Government Expansion Project is on schedule for opening in January
2024.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Construction Tour
The Government Center Building Subcommittee, Samuel Group, Architects, and County
staff that attended the meeting toured the construction area.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
