BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Health and Human Services Monthly Financials
Fiscal Manager Fay Strenke reviewed the monthly financials with the Board. Strenke
highlighted that in Children Services (CS), the Youth Community Support Services (YCSS)
revenues are up and expect that program's revenues to come in over budget as other
revenues in CS are also ahead of last year. The increase in Purchased Services are mainly
due to out of home placements within CS as other Purchased Services are running the
same as last year. There has been a task force established to work on addressing the out
of home placement issue. In the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) donations
are similar to last year, but catered food is higher due to kitchen changes at meal sites
and overall costs are increasing. The Health Care Campus (HCC) is showing the Nursing
Home and Orchard View running very similar to last year and overall is in the positive.
No questions tonight.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. Health and Human Services Board Orientation Presentations
HHS Director Rohret introduced this agenda item and informed that this is the first of
several HHS Board orientation presentations to coincide with the mandated services

Linder reviewed a power point with the Board highlighting the variety of work that the
Office Support Team completes daily and was followed by a presentation by Tammy
Wilson who informed about the important work the Records division provides for staff
and consumers.
Discussion & questions followed.
