The Chiefs were reluctant to recommend pricing of equipment rental without input from other counties. FEMA rates are lower than what is currently in the policy. Coordinator Sailer has received information from the state regarding the policy of surrounding communities. Sailer will bring the information back to the Fire Association and request their recommendation. Once their recommendation is received the policy will be brought back to the LEPC for approval. If there were no rates in the policy then FEMA's rate of reimbursement would be used. If reimbursable rates are in the policy FEMA will accept those as rates for reimbursement.
