Others Present: Pierce County Administrator Jo Ann Miller and members of the public. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. February 7, 2014 8:00 AM The February 7, 2014 minutes were accepted as presented. RESULT: ACCEPTED 2. February 28, 2014 8:00 AM The February 28, 2014 minutes were accepted as presented. RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT* BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Reports Administrator Thompson presented the January expense report. 2. Resolution to Endorse the Concept of a Merged Pierce-St. Croix County PSAP Discussion on the postponed resolution. Supervisor Kiesler invited Pierce County Administrator Jo Ann Miller to address the committee. Discussion on the 911 feasibility study report and the phases set forth in the report. Supervisor Andy Brinkman handed out suggested changes to the draft resolution. Discussion. Motion by Brinkman to amend the resolution by replacing lines 48 and 49 of the postponed resolution with the following language: "Administration to continue to develop an implementation plan which will address issues of governance, financing, and operations. Spending on this plan will be capped at $20,000 before administration will be required to come back to the full board to request any additional financial contribution from the taxpayers of St Croix County. Seconded by Kiesler. Supervisor Kiesler volunteered to abstain from the vote due to working in Pierce County, Corporation Counsel says there is no conflict of interest, Kiesler will vote. Motion passes. Motion by Brinkman/Kiesler to recommend the resolution to full county board. Motion passed RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] Next: 4/15/2014 9:00 AM MOVER: Andy Brinkman, Secretary SECONDER: Ron Kiesler, Vice Chair AYES: Roger Larson, Ron Kiesler, Andy Brinkman EXCUSED: Dave Ostness, Joe Hurtgen 3. 9-1-1 Center/EOC Project Update Coordinator Sailer provided an update on the 911/EOC project. The project is nearing completion with final punch list items being addressed. There will be an open house for first responders on April 14th. Due to CJIS security protocol the general public will not be allowed in the center. 4. Community Justice Collaborating Council Administrator Thompson introduced the CJCC Coordinator Travis Gaetz. Gaetz has been meeting with agencies, establishing resources we have in the county and working on COMPAS risk needs assessments for the diversion and drug court programs. Committee members can contact him with questions or see him on 2nd floor next to Judge Lundell's courtroom. Next CJCC meeting is March 27th.
