BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Financial Reports
Finance Director Tabatha Hansen reviewed the Financial reports. Reports are for period
ending June 30, 2014.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. 2015 Budget
Finance Director Tabatha Hansen notified the committee the 2015 budget
recommendations should be presented at the October 21, 2014 Committee of the Whole
(COTW). Director Hansen presented budgets for the following departments ; Child
Support, District Attorney's Office, Emergency Support Services, Sheriff's Office and
Medical Examiner's Office each department head addressed questions from the
committee.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. 9-1-1 Infrastructure Phase II
Emergency Support Services Director Casey Swetlik presented an update on the 9-1-1
Infrastructure Phase II project. The contract with AT & T is being reviewed by the
Corporation Counsel office. The hope remains to have the phone system installed and
operational by the end of the year. A meeting was held with Zoning to review
ordinances, rules and regulations regarding tower construction, height, color etc. ESS
will continue to work with CDD to get the ordinance updated.
