On November 14-15 there will be the course, “Practical Application of Incident
Command System” (W-410) held in Baldwin at the Highway Department. This is a great
ICS refresher-type course that incorporates a model city to reenforce the concepts
taught in class. It takes various components of ICS and puts them into practical
situations. Other topics covered includes information/intelligence, evacuation, and
managing the media.
This interactive course is beneficial for fire, EMS and law enforcement. We need about 4
more people to enroll in order to hold the course. Please advertise this course offering
widely to ensure it can be held with a good cross section of disciplines!
