1.Monthly Finance Report
Kathy Rineck reviewed the monthly Finance report
RESULT:DISCUSSED
2.Review Proposed 2024 Highway Department Budget Report
Rob Krejci reviewed the 2024 Highway Budget report and proposed inclusions for
employee compensation and provisions for on call personnel.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Highway Department Monthly Report
Rob Krejci reviewed the staffing numbers and also reviewed the results of a recent
employee interest study in a proposed year-round 4 x 10 work schedule. Krejci indicated
the department would shift to a scheduled year-round 4 x 10 work schedule. The
department plans to have a small crew work Tuesday through Friday during the winter
season to ensure basic coverage on Fridays
Crews have completed chip sealing for the season.

4. Local Road Improvement Pilot Program Update
The Wisconsin Towns Association has requested to administer the Local Road
Improvement program. St. Croix County is one of 25 Counties included in this State wide
pilot program.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
5. Consider Letter of Support for Coalition Against Bigger Trucks
Motion by JV/PA to send a letter to the Coalition Against Bigger Trucks. Motion carried.

6. Discuss September Wisconsin County Association Meeting and Transportation
Committee Meeting Dates
Due to a schedule conflict with the Wisconsin County Association annual meeting and
the scheduled Transportation Committee, the Committee has cancelled the September
18, 2023 meeting.
RESULT: DISCUSSED

ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Rob Krejci announced the Safe Highways and Streets for All agreement has been signed and the
project will begin in the upcoming weeks.
