BUSINESS ITEMS
1.Financial Report
Ramberg discussed the Highway Department financials highlighting changes from the previous
year.
2.Consider Participation in the Gateway Corridor PAC and TAC Commitees
Discussion of having a St. Croix County representative attend the Gateway Corridor and TAC
Committees.
Motion made by Malick 2nd by Ostness to send a representative only when it is deemed
necessary.
3.2014 Highway Department Budget Review
Ramberg and Thompson reviewed the changes in the 2014 Highway budget since the last
meeting.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Ramberg reviewed the following announcements and correspondence:
The Board the Office Commission of the Railroad will be installing lights and gates at 220th
Street in the Town of Baldwin.
All bridges on east end of Interstate 94 are scheduled to be replaced by the end of 2017. The
west end bridges are still under study.
Updated the Board on frac sand discussions in Glenwood.
PSC/Windmill update in Town of Forest.
Reduced speed request on County Road H.
Discussed the possibility of St. Croix County and Pierce County Transportation Committees
having a joint meeting.
2014 Winter Highway Conference is January 13-15.
TDA Fly-In will be held April 2-3, 2014 in Washington, D.C.
