APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. April 7, 2014 8:30 AM
Minutes approved as amended to reflect Brian Hurtgen, absent and excused. Amended
(BM/DO) to (Malick/Ostess).
PUBLIC COMMENT*

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Election of Chair & Vice Chair
Chair-Nomination by Ostness for Peavey. Larson moved to close the nominations. A
motion was made and seconded (Ostness/Hanson) to elect Peavey as Chair of the
Transportation Committee. Carried unanimously.
Vice Chair-Nomination by Nelson for Ostness. Peavey moved to close nominations. A
motion was made and seconded (Hanson/Peterson) to elect Ostness as Vice Chair of the
Transportation Committee. Carried unanimously.
2. Establish Regular Meeting Schedule
The Committee discussed options on monthly meeting schedule. Committee will meet
the second Monday of each month.
3. Department Fact Sheet from Orientation
Ramberg and Durkee presented the Department Fact sheet along with a short
presentation.
4. Future Agenda Items
Future items include, but limited to:
Utility Accommodation Policy
Highway Encroachment needs
CTH M, River Falls, speed limit discussion
