APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. July 14, 2014 8:30 AM
Minutes approved upon correction of Business Item 8 to read as below.
Daniel Fedderly (via phone) reviewed the Memorandum of Understanding regarding the concept
of Jurisdictional Transfers between St. Croix County, Town of Troy, City of River Falls. Motion
made by Dave Ostness and seconded by Dave Peterson to move forward with the Memorandum
of Understanding, with the condition all entities have approved the agreement first. Carried
unanimously.
RESULT: ACCEPTED AS AMENDED

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. 2014 Project Updates
Ramberg updated the status of construction, paving and chip sealing projects.
2. June 30, 2014 Financial Report
Ramberg reviewed the financial report through June 30, 2014.
3. Discuss Implements of Husbandry Options
Transportation Committee reviewed and discussed Implements of Husbandry. Committee needs
to decide which option to select and bring to the County Board for an ordinance adoption by
January 15, 2015. The Towns Association and the Wisconsin County Highway Association has
recommended Option E. A suggestion of a public meeting was discussed after the
Transportation Committee determines which option to approve. Also, it was suggested to add
the IoH information to the Highway page of the County web site.
4. Update Somerset Pit land swap
Somerset Pit land exchange with Village of Somerset: The Transportation Committee discussed
with Jeff Durkee and Jim Krizan present to provide information to the Committee.
5. WCHA Utility Accommodation Policy updates/amendments
Motion made by Dave Ostness, 2nd by Dave Peterson to approve the 2012 WCHA Utility
Accommodation Policy and the 2014 Utility/Right of Way use permits as modified or
amended from time to time. Motion carried.

6. Road Testing Baseline Alternatives
Jeff Durkee gave an overview of alternative baseline for roads. There would not be a
requirement of baseline testing on CTH G as the road is built to specifications.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
St. Croix County Highway has two projects currently under the Performance Base Maintenance
program.
2015 budget discussions continue this week. Portable scale purchase options and preparation of
2016 State Funded projects were discussed.
