5. Resolution Approving Memorandum of Understanding - Radio Road, County Trunk
Highway MM and Mann Lane all in St. Croix County
Motion by Dave Peterson second by Scott Nelson to approve the resolution with the
following changes to the Financial Impact Statement and the Background Statement.
Financial Impact
Reprioritizing this project in 2015, with an approximate cost of 1 million dollars, other
projects will be deferred to 2016 to offset expense. The net effect will be zero. This is a
shifting of projects in the Highway Department long range improvement plan.
Background
These jurisdictional transfers in correlation with the reassignment of CTH āUā as part of
the STH 35/Radio Road interchange will result in a net decrease of approximately 3.6
miles on the County Trunk Highway (CTH) system and a reduction of one bridge. Other
construction projects will be shifted and reprioritized to accommodate the county costs to
construct Radio Road (2015) and Mann lane (estimated in 2016).
