1. 2015 Budget Review
The budget passed at County Board level.

2. Financial Report
Ramberg reviewed the financial report through September 30, 2014.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Committee Duties Review (Rules and Bylaws)
Committee suggested an addition to item four; The St. Croix County Highway
Department typically fills out applications for reimbursement which is a separate concept.
Also, insert an additional line, #8: The Transportation Committee sets policy for highway
infrastructure asset management goals, supporting fixed assets, and business plan.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Resolution Authorizing Highway Department Gravel Pit Land Exchange with the Village
of Somerset
Motion carried based on adding the legal description to the resolution where
approximately 5 acres and 9.7 acres are listed. Also, consider replacing the word “sell”
on line 42 with the word “exchange.” Ramberg and Rehnelt are reviewing other options
for land purchase in the Somerset Shop area.

Supervisor Dan Hanson announced to the Committee he has been selected to be a member
CDAC (County Deer Advisory Council).
The Committee discussed plowing policies and procedures.
