1. Financial Update
Ramberg reviewed the Highway Department financial report through February 28, 2015.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. Review Highway Department 2014-Report of Financial Operations
Ramberg reviewed a summary of the 2014 Report of Financial Operations.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Implements of Husbandry Update
Ramberg shared information on a bill to clean-up and correct oversights and unforeseen
circumstances in the original IoH bill. Prior to the Transportation Committee, staff had
researched and addressed questions from the public comment portion of the March 2nd
Transportation Committee meeting.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Consider Communication Tower Projects at Deer Park, Hammond and Somerset
Stephen T’Kach & Terry Anderson reviewed tower locations at Deer Park, Hammond and
Somerset. A map of the final Somerset communication tower location was distributed.
Motion made by Dave Ostnes, second by Dave Peterson to authorize continuation of the
Communication Towers and/or shelters at all three locations. Motion carried.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

5. Consider Sidewalk Exemption County Road J Bridge
Durkee presented information regarding the absence of need for a sidewalk on County
Trunk Highway ‘J’. Motion made by Dave Peterson second by Dave Ostness to submit an
“absence of need” exemption for sidewalk. Motion carried. A Public Informational
Meeting is scheduled for County Trunk Highway ‘J’ and County Trunk Highway ‘O’ on May
11, 2015, to be held at 10:30 and 11:00, respectively, at the Highway Department,
Hammond. Notice will be posted in the County newspaper.

ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Ramberg reviewed the High Risk Rural Roads Program (HRRRP) safety application for a segment
of County Trunk Highway ‘I’ north of Somerset.
Ramberg and Ostness gave an overview of TDA Capital Days.
Ramberg reviewed the status of the Radio Road construction project.
An accident on County Trunk Highway 'A' was noted. No accident report data was available at this
time.
Krizan gave a status update on Highway Department road damage claim.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is scheduling a meeting to discuss salt shed needs in
the Houlton area.
Peavey plans to attend the St. Croix County Comprehensive Bike and Pedestrian Plan Selection
Committee as the appointee for the Transportation Committee.
May 14 is the District meeting for Commissioners and Transportation Committee members in
Beldenville.
