Transportation Committee – Regular Meeting – January 11, 2016 8:30 AM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT Scottie Ard and Bob Binkman, City of New Richmond, spoke to the Committee regarding the County Road 'A' (old State Highway 64) speed limit change request. BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Monthly Financial Report Ramberg reviewed the Highway Department financial report. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Hammond Facility Update Steve Walker and Cory Scheidler, Cedar Corporation, presented the Hammond building feasibility study to the Transportation Committee. RESULT: DISCUSSED 3. Resolution Designating the Week of April 11 through April 15, 2016 "Work Zone Safety Awareness Week" in St. Croix County RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] Next: 3/1/2016 9:00 AM MOVER: Scott Nelson, Supervisor SECONDER: Daniel Hansen, Supervisor AYES: Scott Nelson, Dave Ostness, Daniel Hansen, David Peterson, William Peavey 4. 3762 : Wisconsin DOT I94 Project Overview 2018-2020 Tom Anderson and Rich Shermo, WISDOT, presented an overview of the I-94 pavement project for the years 2018-2020. RESULT: DISCUSSED 5. Discuss Functional System Map Tim Ramberg shared the draft Functional Classification map of St. Croix County. RESULT: DISCUSSED 7. Transit Planning Sub Committee Update Dave Ostness distributed and discussed the St. Croix County Transit Planning hand out. RESULT: DISCUSSED REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE Dave Ostness shared the Proclamation scheduled to be read at the next County Board of Supervisors meeting. Tim Ramberg and Jeff Durkee shared information with the Committee regarding Badlands Road. ADJOURN DATE OF NEXT MEETING The Transportation Committee meeting is scheduled to meet March 14, 2016, 8:30 am at the Highway Department office.
