1. Testing Policy in CPS Cases.
CHIPS Screening Policy Discussion and Clarification - see attachment.
Number of parents testing discussed (court ordered v. testing for
reunification/conditions voluntarily). Staff requirements needs. Monetary issues.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. Addressing Truancy Cases at the Municipal & Circuit Court Levels.
Phil Galli discussion to reassign one of his JSS staff to truancy cases. ARPA funds may be
available through 2024. The position would be a "Youth Early Intervention Specialist".
Judge Gherty discussion regarding other issues besides truancy in schools.
