Community Justice Collaborating Council Regular Meeting January 12, 2023 8:00 AM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Introduction of new District Court Administrator Ross Munns. Judge Needham introduced new District Court Administrator Ross Munns. 2. Introduction of new Government Center Case Manager Laurie Rosas. Justice Support Director Galli introduced the new Government Center Case Manager Laurie Rosas. 3. TAD Grant Update. JSS Director Galli provided updates on COMPAS assessments as they relate to TAD- funded programs (Treatment Court and Diversion). Diversion Supervisor Lisa Multhauf also provided discussion regarding COMPAS as it relates to the Diversion Program. 4. Treatment Court Update. Judge Nordstrand and Treatment Court Coordinator Kait Breuer provided updates regarding Treatment Court. 5. Justice Support Update. JSS Director Galli discussed adding drug testing services at the Services Center in New Richmond. 6. Justice Support partnership with UniverCity Year. JSS Director Galli discussed the next steps for an ongoing partnership with UniverCity Year through UW-Madison. 7. MRT Update. JSS Director Galli and JSS case manager Tina Sitz discussed MRT enrollment numbers. 8. Discussion of Mental Health Summit. HHS Director Rohret discussed the upcoming Mental Health Summit. 9. Introduction of partners from Center for Effective Public Policy. JSS Director Galli introduced Lakisha Fisher from CEPP/APPR. 10. A discussion with Kathleen Hankes. JSS Director Galli moderated a discussion with Kathleen Hankes. 11. Subcommittee updates. Subcommittee reports from each of the chairs.
