Domestic Violence & Family Issues Subcommittee of the Community Justice Collaborating Council Regular Meeting January 25, 2023 11:30 AM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Presentation from Chief Richert and Lieutenant Coleman Police Chief Mark Richert from North Hudson and Lieutenant Charles Coleman from the Sheriff's Office presented on policies and procedures regarding domestic abuse and the law enforcement response. 2. Update on Resource Guide JSS Director passed out a draft copy of the resource guide. 3. Discussion of Case Study Project. Judge Vlack and JSS Director Galli discussed having the DAs Office discuss a case at July's meeting. 4. Touch Base on Working Groups. Judge Vlack discussed the new direction for the working groups (i.e., doing a case study instead).
