1. Domestic Violence & Family Issues Subcommittee of the Community Justice
Collaborating Council Regular Meeting July 20, 2022 11:30 AM

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Domestic violence assessment as a condition of bond/no contact.
Travis Satorius from the Public Defender's Office presented some of the challenges with
requiring domestic violence assessments as a condition of bond to have a no contact
order removed.
2. Update on Resource Guide.
JSS Director Galli and Court Commissioner Heckman stated the domestic violence
resource guide should be available, with the assistance of Public Information, by Jan. 1.
3. Services available to children and their families.
Shar Lopez from Behavioral Health discussed resources available for children and their
families who may be effected by domestic violence.
4. Lethality Assessment Update.
Turning Point provided an update on the Lethality Assessment Program (LAP).
5. Discussion of working groups.
Judge Vlack discussed updates to working groups, flow charts, and proposed plans for
case study project.
6. Meeting Dates for 2023.
1/25, 4/26, 7/26, & 10/25.
