1. CJCC & TAD Budget 2015
CJCC Coordinator Mike O'Keefe presented the Financial Reports for CJCC and
Treatment & Alternatives Grant (TAD) through January 2015.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. COMPAS Training - Mike O'Keefe
CJCC Coordinator Mike O'Keefe discussed the Advanced COMPAS (Correctional
Offender Management Profiling for Alternative Sanctions) Training he attended in
January 2015 at the Department of Corrections Training Center in Madison, WI. He also
indicated that the DOC is willing to come to St. Croix County this summer to provide
training on interpretation of the COMPAS results. Mike O'Keefe will send out a save the
date as soon as he is made aware of the time and place.

3. Approved By-Law Changes-CJCC
CJCC Coordinator Mike O'Keefe presented the final and approved CJCC By-Laws.
Discussion was held on changes made to the By-Laws.

4. Report from St. Croix County Sheriff
Sheriff John Shilts updated the CJCC Council on issues in the St. Croix County Sheriff's
Department. Sheriff Shilts also reported that he is a member of statewide committees
that are going to make recommendations to counter prescription drug abuse in our
communities . He will give us updates as potential law changes are proposed.

5. Medical Examiner Report
Medical Examiner Patty Schachtner gave the Council a presentation on prescription drug
abuse issues in St. Croix County. Ms. Schachtner indicated there is a need to reach out to
children and parents in our communities to get them the information they need to make
informed choices about alcohol and drug use. Ms. Schachtner also presented the Council
with the results of the 2013 Wisconsin Youth Risk Behavior Survery. Discussion was
held on the results of this survey.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
6. Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) Groups Update
Diversion Program Coordinator Lisa Multhauf gave an update on the MRT (Moral
Reconation Therapy) program. Currently they have 10 offenders in the group. They are
a mix of Drug Court and Diversion participants. In the near future Ms. Multhauf and her
staff will be starting other groups to accommodate offenders under probation and parole
supervision. Judge Needham stated that we should make it a priority to hold a group
during non traditional hours at the Service Center in New Richmond, WI.

7. Treatment Court Oversight Committee Meeting 2-25-15
CJCC Coordinator Mike O'Keefe informed the Council that the CJCC Treatment Court
Oversight Committee met on 2-25-15 to discuss issues and procedures related to the St.
Croix County Drug Court. Several issues were brought up and discussed, but it was
decided that the group would need to meet again before making any recommendations to
the Council.

8. Grant Opportunities for St. Croix County CJCC
Diversion Program Coordinator Lisa Multhauf and CJCC Coordinator Mike O'Keefe
asked the Council for guidance on grant requests for new initiatives for CJCC.
Discussion was held on the possibility of doing more COMPAS assessments for Pre-Trial
defendants. A motion was made by Pat Thompson, 2nd by Roger Larson to have Lisa
Multhauf and Mike O'Keefe look into potential grant funding sources for new COMPAS
initiatives. Passed unanimously.

ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Judge Lundell made an announcement about Judge Cameron's retirement program at the Hudson
House. Mike O'Keefe announced that Alison Page will be joining the CJCC Council.
