Info/Discussion Item (ID # 2560) Financial Report COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator presented the financial report for CJCC and the Treatment & Alternatives (TAD) Grant. Lisa Multhauf also gave an update on the TAD Grant. Info/Discussion Item (ID # 2556) Committee of the Whole Update COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Patrick Thompson, St. Croix County Administrator, gave an update of the Committee of the Whole meeting that was held on October 21, 2014. He discussed the proposed St. Croix County budget for 2015. RESULT: DISCUSSED 3. Info/Discussion Item (ID # 2558) Victim Witness, Drug Court & CJCC Space Update COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Jim Elsbury, Facilities Director, gave an update on the Victim Witness, CJCC/Drug Court Coordinator new office space. Victim Witness should be moving into their new space prior to Thanksgiving. They are going to occupy the Veteran Service Office space that was vacated this year. Once Victim Witness is moved this space will be painted and CJCC/Drug Court Coordinator will occupy this office. There will also be flex work stations incorporated into this office to accommodate staff from the Service Center in New Richmond. This move should take place prior to December 20, 2015. This move will free up space for the Court/Probate (Conference Rooms). RESULT: DISCUSSED 4. Info/Discussion Item (ID # 2557) Community Service Update COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator discussed his visit with the Barron County Community Service Coordinator. He will meet with Scott Cox, Corporation Counsel to discuss liability issues related to this project. If given approval to move forward a work group of the CJCC should be established to develop policies and procedures, and to review if juveniles should be allowed into this program. Info/Discussion Item (ID # 2559) Moral Reconation Therapy Study for Jail Program Regular Meeting Minutes October 23, 2014 Community Justice Collaborating Council Page 3 Printed 12/11/2014 COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator gave an on the proposal to establish an MRT Program in the St. Croix County Jail. A workgroup has been established to review this proposal. RESULT: DISCUSSED 6. Info/Discussion Item (ID # 2555) Diversion & Drug Court Update COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Amber Perry, Drug Court Coordinator, and Lisa Multhauf, Diversion Coordinator, gave updates on their respective programs. Lisa Multhauf indicated that Diversion referrals are increasing and the COMPAS Assessments completed on these clients are showing they belong in this program because the vast majority are low risk. Amber Perry discussed the Drug Court Program and announced there will be two upcoming graduations. She also indicated they could use more referrals to this program if appropriate (high risk, high need) according to a COMPAS Assessment. RESULT: DISCUSSED 7. Info/Discussion Item (ID # 2554) CJCC Workgroup Reports COMMENTS - Current Meeting: Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator, gave an update on CJCC standing workgroups. Steve Kirt, Behavior Health Administrator, stated that Kristin DePrey, AODA Supervisor, will represent Health & Human Services on the Addictions workgroup. Amber Perry, Drug Court Coordinator volunteered to be part of the CJCC Mental Health workgroup. Fred Johnson, Health & Human Services Director, will take the lead and coordinate a meeting of the Mental Health workgroup as soon as possible. This is a change from our regular meeting location.
