APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Treatment Courts Subcommittee of the Community Justice Collaborating Council Regular Meeting November 9, 2017 9:30 AM Minutes from November 9, 2017 were accepted as presented. RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Treatment Court Program Update Kimberly Kitzberger gave an update on the number of participants currently in Treatment Court. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Treatment Court Track II OWI Implementation Plan Judge Waterman discussed what constitutes high risk (IDA) and high need with participants. Kimberly Kitzberger discussed national best practices with reference to Treatment Courts. There was a lengthy discussion about implementation of an OWI Track within our current Treatment Court model. A motion was made by Fred Johnson, second by Mark Lemke, to move forward with an OWI Track within our current Treatment Court. The motion was approved unanimously. RESULT: APPROVED \[UNANIMOUS\] AYES: Fred Johnson, Scott Knudson, Mark Lemke, Mike Waterman, Brian Smestad, Michael Nieskes EXCUSED: Edward Vlack, Eric Lundell, Scott Needham 3. Treatment Court Proposed Program Budget for 2019 Kimberly Kitzberger gave an update on the Treatment Court budget. RESULT: DISCUSSED REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE ADJOURN The meeting was adjourned by Judge Waterman at 12:52 p.m. DATE OF NEXT MEETING November 8, 2018, 9:30 a.m., Government Center - County Board Room.
