Executive Committee of the Community Justice Collaborating Council Regular Meeting June 11, 2015 12:00 PM PUBLIC COMMENT Attorney John Kucinski addressed the CJCC Executive Committee with concerns over the implementation of the security screening procedure taking place at the Government Center on September 1, 2015. Attorney Alex Andrea also voiced concerns about the security screening procedures and if exceptions will be made for attorneys visiting clients in jail. BUSINESS ITEMS 1. CJCC & TAD Budget Review Discussion was held on the 2015 CJCC and Treatment Alternatives & Diversion Grant Budget to date. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. 2016 Proposed CJCC & TAD Budget Request Discussion was held on the proposed 2016 Budget for CJCC and Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant. Pat Thompson made a motion to accept the 2016 CJCC & TAD Budget as presented and recommend to the CJCC Council on 8-27-15 for approval, second by Roger Larson. Vote was unanimous to approve. RESULT: APPROVED \[UNANIMOUS\] AYES: Patrick Thompson, Roger Larson, Eric Johnson, Eric Lundell 3. Agenda Items for the CJCC August 27, 2015 Meeting Discussion was held on recommended agenda items for the next CJCC meeting on 8-27- 15. Items placed on the agenda; Security Screening at the Government Center, 2015 CJCC & TAD Budget update, 2016 proposed CJCC & TAD Budget, Workgroup Updates, Day Report Center Presentation, Affordable Care Act for Offenders, Crime Prevention Fund Board, Family Resource Center Proposal ( Brandie Hart & Kimberly Kitzberger). RESULT: DISCUSSED REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE ADJOURN Judge Lundell adjourned the meeting at 12:45 PM. DATE OF NEXT MEETING The date of the next CJCC Executive Committee Meeting is Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 12:00 PM. This meeting will take place at the Government Center in Room D203. The next CJCC Council Meeting is Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 8:00 AM. This meeting will take place at the New Richmond Service Center in Room 171.
