APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. October 12, 2018 8:30 AM
Council on Aging and Disabilities Chair Anderson asked if there were any corrections, additions
or deletions for the minutes. There were none noted. A motion was to accept the minutes as
presented was made by Council member Pelnar; seconded by Council member Brunner; motion
carried.
RESULT: ACCEPTED
PUBLIC COMMENT
Council Chair Anderson opened the floor for public comment. There was no public comment
provided.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. 85.21 Specialized Transportation Assistance 2019 Grant Application
ADRC Administrator Beckman presented a power point summarizing the application
grant. Council members received the 2019 Projected Budget Summary regarding the
County Elderly Transportation and projects St. Croix County is funding with the allocated
monies. The monies held in the Trust accounts was discussed regarding usage and
guidelines. Beckman informed the Council there were be a Public Hearing held on
December 5 at the Baldwin Municipal Building at 1 p.m. Copies of the full application
are also available at the ADRC upon request. A motion was made to approve the 85.21
Specialized Transportation Assistance Grant Application by Council member Schrank and
seconded by Council member Brunner; motion carried.

2. Aging and Disability Resource Center Financial Reports
HHS Director Johnson reviewed the ADRC Financial Report with the Council. When
reviewing the report, it was pointed out that some items look over spent, but could be
because of the new financial system and learning the coding.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Information and Assistance Specialist/Options Counselor Update Sheet
Council members reviewed the October 2018 Information and Assistance report. In the
month of October, there were three enrollments into Inclusa and no disenrollments;
there were no enrollments into Care Wisconsin and no disenrollments; there were five
enrollments in to IRIS and no disenrollments. Effective October, consumers were
provided another option regarding IRIS - IRIS-TMG and IRIS-Connections. The
Information Assistance Specialist are now able to provide consumers with more choice.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Out of County and Weekend Senior Center Transportation Requests
There were multiple transportation requests presented to the Council for approval.
Friday, November 16: Hudson to Maplewood
Saturday, December 1: Woodville to Menomonie
Sunday, December 2: River Falls to Bloomington
Monday, December 3: Baldwin to Woodbury
Friday, December 7: Robert to UWRF
Sunday, December 9: Hudson to Hudson High School
A motion was made to approve the requests by Council member Schrank; seconded
by Council member Pelnar; motion carried.

REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Council Chair Anderson asked if anyone had any requests for future agenda items. Some
suggestions were reviewing the changes in Children's Waiver and the current waiting list for
services, information on the Opiod Epidemic, and discussion on the shortage of Personal Care
Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Beckman informed the Council that names are currently being taken for the Secret Santa
program. If you would like to refer someone, contact Amy at the ADRC
The Veterans Service Office received a grant to purchase a van to transport St. Croix County
veterans to and from the VA Hospital.
