Therefore, this notice also serves as notice of'a meeting of'the County Boardfor the purpose of'ohtaining information relaxing to subjects listed above for use at future County Board Meetings. 11/14/2011 7f IYY NOVEMBER 17,2011 ROLL CALL - Members Present: Supervisors Steve Hermsen, Sharon Norton-Bauman, James Stauffer, Bill Peavey, Buzz Marzolf and Lorin Sather. FS A Representative Ken Graf was absent. Robert Shearer was absent and excused. STAFF PRESENT: Alex Blackburn, Bob Heise, Ellen Denter, Joan Sprain, at Thompson and Monica Lucht APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by Marzolf 2 nd by Peavey approving the minutes of October 20, 2011 as amended. Motion carried. Wildlife Damage Program-Closure Date: Heise explained the committee needs to set a closure date for the Wildlife Darnage Program now that most row crops are harvested. He recommended setting the date for December 31, 2011 to ensure that ninety percent of the crops are harvested. Motion by Norton- Bauman, 2 d by Stauffer to set the closure date to December 31, 2011 for the Wildlife Damage Program. Motion carried. Public Hearing — 6:30 p.m. The public hearing notice for the waiver was acknowledged for the record and turned over to Blackburn. Waiver — David Thompson LOCATION: Part of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 12, T' )ON, R 19W, Town of Somerset ADDRESS: 821 165' Avenue, New Richmond, WI REQUEST: To seek a road setback reduction pursuant to Section 13.10 B. of the St. Croix County Land Division Ordinance. Blackburn reviewed the staff report. This waiver request is to reduce the setback on lot 23 on the Plat of North Bass Lake Estates from 100 feet to 50 feet along 165 Avenue. Chair Heriusen asked three times for anyone wishing to speak in favor of the request. Hearing none, Chair Heriusen asked three times for anyone wishing to speak in opposition of the request. Hearing none, he closed the public comment. Motion by Sather, 2 nd by Norton-Bauman that the waiver request be accepted and approved along with the condition that a Wisconsin registered land surveyor must record a corrective instrument to reduce the setback. Motion carried. 11 ANNOUNCEMENTS& CORRESPONDENCE: Discuss the future of the Wildwood Trail. Also, revisit the County Parks Ordinance regarding gun regulation standards.
