The next meeting was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on November 20 at the Government
Center. The Committee will be bargaining with the Land and Water Conservation
employees.
The Personnel Committee reviewed the course of the bargaining process so far
and the options available for continued exchange of proposals with the GGSS Union.
Motion (Berenschot, Krueger) to go into closed session per WI. Stat. 19.85 (1) c for the
purpose of continuing labor negotiations with the GGSS Union. Roll call vote: all aye;
moved into closed session at 9:20 a.m. Present on behalf of the union for the bargaining
session were Marion Standaert, Mary Vadnais, Lisa Dahl, Kathy Spott, and business
agent Steve Hartmann.
Moved (Berenschot, Krueger) and approved to come out of closed session at
11:40 a.m. King discussed concerns regarding the re- writing of the Highway
Commissioner's job description. Kathan indicated that the re -write reflected a

noted that the Highway Committee and the County Board Chairman had prepared the job
description and felt that it was representative of the job. No action taken. Standafer
adjourned the meeting at noon.
Respectfully submitted,
Julie Speer, Secretary
