1. 2017 Budget Discussion
Tim Ramberg reviewed the 2017 budget for the Highway Department.

2. Monthly Financial Report
Tim Ramberg reviewed the financial report.

3. Consider County Trunk Highway M Right of Way Plat and Relocation Order
Kevin Meyer, Corre, Inc. gave an overview of the County Road M intersection project.
The cost of the Right of Way acquisitions will be paid by Pierce County as part of a
Federal Rural Surface Transportation Program. Motion made by Dave Ostness/Dave
Peterson to approve the Highway Commissioner to sign the Right of Way and Relocation
map as per the plan request. Motion carried.

4. Hammond Facility and Ad Hoc Committee Update
Todd Rehnelt updated the Committee on the Facility & Ad Hoc Committee. Upon
approval of the 2017 budget, the Committee plans to begin the RFQ process.

5. Transit Planning Subcommittee Update
Dave Ostness updated the Committee on the Open House held on October 5, 2016.

Update on activity of the portable scale.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Ramberg reviewed a letter from the State of Wisconsin regarding the STH 64
Freeway/Expressway Designation & Conversion Study.
The Office of the Commissioner of Railroads sent a Notice of Investigation to consider the
adequacy of warning devices at the grade crossing of the Wisconsin Central Ltd. (CN) tracks
with 150th Avenue in the Town of Glenwood.
Effective October 1, it is illegal to talk on a hand-held mobile device while driving in a
Wisconsin road work zone.
The West Central District meeting is scheduled for October 27 in Trempealeau County.
