Transportation Committee – Special Meeting – April 6, 2017 6:00 PM Joint/Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan meeting minutes RESULT: ACCEPTED 3. Transportation Committee – Regular Meeting – April 10, 2017 8:00 AM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Monthly Financial Report Todd Rehnelt and Kathy Rineck reviewed the financial report. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Transit Planning Subcommittee Update Dave Ostness reviewed the Transit Planning SubCommittee meeting. RESULT: DISCUSSED 3. Ad Hoc Transportation Space Needs Faciltiy Planning Committee Update Todd Rehnelt reviewed information from the Ad Hoc Transporation Space Needs Facility Planning Committee. RESULT: DISCUSSED 4. Update on Highway Department Initiaves Todd Rehnelt reviewed the list of initiaves. RESULT: DISCUSSED 5. 2017 Road Construction Update Todd Rehnelt reviewed the road construction schedule, the sealcoat and paving projects for 2017. The maps are available for viewing on the St. Croix County website. 6. Consider Contract for Right of Way Acquisition CTH I HRRRP Application Motion by Peterson/OStness to develop a contract with Core for Right of Way Acquisition on CTH I. Motion carried. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: David Peterson, Supervisor SECONDER: Dave Ostness, Vice Chair AYES: Scott Nelson, Dave Ostness, David Peterson, William Peavey EXCUSED: Ryan S. Sicard 7. The Committee will convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats § 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchase of public properties, the investing of public funds or conducting of other specified public business, whenever competitive bargaining reasons require a closed session. Motion mady by Dave Ostness/Scott Nelson to convene into closed session. Motion carried. Motion Carried. The Transportation Committee took action to approve Right of Way Acquisition on Parcel 5, County Trunk Highway M.
