1. Monthly Financial Report
Kathy Rineck gave an overview of the financial report.

2. State & County Budget Update
Staff reviewed the County and State Highway Department budget.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Transit Planning Subcommittee Update
Dave Ostness updated the Transportation Committee in regards to Transit. Local clinics
and hospitals attended the last meeting and expressed the need for transit services. The
workshop held in September was well attended and informative. The October meeting is
scheduled to be held in the Industrial Park in Hudson with company representatives.

4. Ad Hoc Building Committee Update
Staff has been reviewing the concept drawing and site layout. Six Construction Manager
proposals were received, with interviews scheduled for October 17, 2017. The closing on
the land in Baldwin is scheduled for next week. A final site plan is expected in
November.

5. Consider Securing Appraisal for Existing Hammond Highway Facility Property
Motion made by Scott Nelson/Dave Peterson to authorize and secure an appraisal of the
Hammond Highway Facility. Motion carried.

6. LRI-Program Update
Staff indicated the application and selection process is currently underway. The Highway
Department assists local entities with the application and any other questions about the
LRIP program.

7. West Central Region Fall Committee Members Meeting Update
The Fall Committee members meeting is scheduled for October 30, 2017 in Chippewa
County.

8. Discuss WCHA Training Opportunities
Dave Ostness gave an update on WCHA Training. The Executive Committee is
reviewing and evaluation their programs. The Board is planning to survey all Counties
regarding topics and participation.

9. Safety Day Announcement
Staff invited the Transportation Committee to attend the annual Safety Day on October
24, 2017, from 6:30 am -4:30 pm.
