1. Transportation Committee – Regular Meeting – June 17, 2019 8:30 AM

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Financial Report
Rob Krejci and Kathy Rineck reviewed the 2018 budget, discussed 2019 budget revisions.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. Highway Department Report
Staff gave an update on summer road construction, I94 construction projects, invasive
species initiatives, the Highway facility along with the State salt shed, changes in the
State Transportation funding. Richard Booth was awarded the Assistant Patrol position,
Matt Corbett was awarded the Operations Specialist position. The Highway Department
currently has openings in our Operations Department.

3. Update on the Sale of Hammond Highway Facility
Rob Krejci and Todd Rehnelt are working with Feather Real Estate Group regarding the
sale of the Hammond Facility.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Transit Commission Update
No meeting was held in July. The next meeting for the Transit Commission is scheduled
for August 13, 2019, 10:00 at the Baldwin Highway Facility.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
5. Consider ATV/UTV Route Trail Ordinance
The Ordinance was reviewed and revised. Rob Krejci will bring the final draft to the
August 19 Transportation Committee meeting. The Ordinance will then be sent to the
County Board on September 3, 2019.
RESULT: NO ACTION Next: 8/19/2019 8:30 AM
REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Review the Highway Facility bond.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
The WI Towns Association will meet at the Highway Department on July 25. The Baldwin
Highway Facility Open House is to be scheduled in September.
