1.Monthly Financial Report
Kathy Rineck reviewed the Highway Department Financial Report

2.Highway Department Report
County Highway Project Update-The Highway Department has completed the last of the
2021 Highway construction projects. County Trunk Highway U-Chapman Road to Coulee
Trail has to be postponed due to limited availability of hot-mix asphalt and has been
scheduled for 2022.
Winter Maintenance Update-Winter maintenance equipment checks are complete.
Staff continues to increase brine use.
County Equipment Update-Staff is reviewing the purchase of a paver as well as
additional equipment requests, noting large delays in receiving products.

3. Local Roads Improvement Program Update
Staff meets with Local partners this week to review and distribute funds for projects in
Towns, Cities and Villages.

4. Discuss H.R. 3684 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act/Impact on County
Transportation Funding
Rob Krejci will be attending a Transportation Development Association meeting in
Madison to obtain and review information on the Infrastructure Funding through
HR3684.

Update on HR 3684 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act/County Transportation Funding
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Staff noted recent public complaints from individuals trespassing in the Stanton Pit. This is an
active MSHA area, hunting and trespassing is not allowed. Rob Krejci will work to notify the
adjacent owners and alleviate the problem.
Rob Krejci has been contacted by a Hudson manufacturer expressing interest in purchasing
two acres from the parcel in which the Hudson Highway shop is located.
The Transportation Committee is invited to join staff at the Annual Snowplow
Driver/Employee Appreciation Day on November 18 in Baldwin.
