1. Finance Report
Kathy Rineck reviewed the Financial Report

2. Highway Department Monthly Report
Seasonal Transition-Staff has returned to a 5 x 8 work week
Winter Maintenance Beat Update-We have new drivers on Local, County and State
beats
Construction Update-We are scheduled to review the five year plan in January
Surface Transportation Program-Rural Update-St. Croix County has received funding
for County Road J, County Road F and County Road K
Local Road Improvement Update-There are proposed changes to the program but
St. Croix County will continue to work with the Towns, Cities and Villages

3. Discuss Right of Way Damage County Trunk Highway I
A letter has been sent to a landowner regarding damage to the County Right of Way.
The area has been repaired by the Highway Department. Any future repair costs will be
the responsibility of the land owner per Wisconsin Statue.

4. Consider City of River Falls Jurisdictional Transfer Request of County Trunk Highway
U from Huppert Lane to County Road M
Motion by Jerry VanSomeren/Rick Ottino to move Item Four to Item One. Motion
carried.
Motion by Paul Adams/Rick Ottino to give full support to Jurisdictional Transfer Request.
Motion carried.

1. Green Light Initiative
COMMENTS - Current Meeting:
Rob Krejci noted the Wisconsin County Highway Association work to create Green Light
Legislation that is limited to municipal vehicles. The public will begin to see these green lights
on municipal maintenance vehicles and snow plow equipment.
