1. Executive Committee of the Community Justice Collaborating Council Regular
Meeting February 25, 2021 12:00 PM
Minutes of February 25, 2021 were accepted as presented.

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. CJCC and Treatment Alternatives & Diverson (TAD) Grant Financial Review
Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator, gave an update on the financial status of the CJCC and
Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. Review Recommendation to Combine CJCC Subcommittees - Substance Abuse and
Mental Health
Discussion was held on combining the CJCC Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Subcommittees. The proposed name of this Subcommittee would be Behavioral Health.
A recommendation to the CJCC Council will be made to approve creating a Behavioral
Health Subcommittee of the CJCC.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Discussion on Use of Zoom for CJCC Council and Subcommittee Meetings
Discussion was held on the discontinuation of Zoom meeting capability for CJCC
Council and subcommittee meetings. This should end after June 30, 2021.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Agenda Items for the CJCC Council Meeting on 5/13/2021
Discussion was held on agenda items for the CJCC Council meeting on May 13, 2021.
The Hon. Ben Wopat, North Hudson Municipal Court, will be retiring at the end of April
2021. He has been a Municipal Court Judge for 36 years and Judge Needham suggested
placing this on the agenda for the May 13, 2021 CJCC Council meeting to recognize
Judge Wopat for his service. Other proposed agenda items; 1.) CJCC Coordinator's
position update, 2.) Update from Justice Services Task Force, 3.) CASA update.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
