MEETING MINUTES
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE COMMUNITY JUSTICE COLLABORATING COUNCIL

Judge Needham called the meeting to order at 12PM.

BUSINESS ITEMS
1.Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant Update -2022-27
The 2022-2027 TAD Grant was discussed. Lisa Multhauf addressed the group converning
the same amount was approved as our last grant cycle of $146,517. The cash match will
be $48,840 from the county. We did try to gain more funding, however all counties were
provided their original amounts and new programs across the state received the
remainder. We will need to organize fund reimbursements accordingly as there are two
positions that the TAD Grant covers. Discussion was held about the Treatment Court
Worker position that was placed on hold until the announcement of this grant; this will
not be posted as a full time position. COMPAS assessing continues and this worker will
be trained to provide support for the quantity of assessments, in conjunction with the
Treatment Court duties, CORE reporting and other duties.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. CJCC Bylaws and Membership Review
Discussion was held on the current CJCC Bylaws. There has not been a review or revision
for several years. Kate Avoles has undertaken review of these as well as the various
membership and job titles. Discussion about subcommittees and how we wish to
proceed as a CJCC - who will be the ongoing members - what will their tasks be to bring
about system change, etc. Judge Needham has asked Kate Avoles to present at the next
full CJCC meeting.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. 2022 CJCC and Subcommittee Meeting Calendaring Discussion
The full CJCC calendar for 2022 was discussed - determined that six meetings a year is
appropriate and to continue. Executive committee will continue the same schedule as
well. Susan has a calendar with same timing as previous years and will distribute at the
CJCC meeting.

4. Review and Approve Agenda Items for the January 2022 CJCC Full Council Meeting
Discussion was held on the next full CJCC meeting in January.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Judge Needham requested a full update of the Justice Support Center and Lab Specimen
Collection unit.
Presentation from Professor Galli and his/UWRF student review of the Treatment Court
A request was made for the Diversion program to report - if time allows within the next
meeting - or March; Professor Galli's review of Diversion
