RESOLUTION SUPPORTING 2025 WISCONSIN DNR RECREATIONAL
BOATING FACILITIES PROGRAM GRANT APPLICATION FOR TROY
BEACH
1 WHEREAS, St. Croix County is interested in obtaining a cost share grant from the
2 Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for the purpose of facility improvements of
3 the recreational boating facilities at Trou Beach including an ADA accessible replacement
4 restroom building, new kayak/canoe/stand-up paddle board launch, additional parking spaces,
5 chip sealing of existing access and parking, new roll out access mat, ramp, and landing; and
7 WHEREAS, St. Croix County attests to the validity and veracity of the statements and
8 representations contained in the application to the Wisconsin DNR; and

10 WHEREAS, an Agreement/Contract is required to carry out the project.

12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
13 Supervisors that St. Croix County will meet the financial obligations necessary to fully and
14 satisfactorily complete the project and hereby authorizes and empowers the following officials or
15 employees to submit the following documents to the DNR for financial assistance that may be
16 available:

18 - Sign and submit the grant application: Jason Kjeseth, Community Development
19 Director, iason.kiesethksccwi.gov; 715-386-4673; and
20 - Sign the Agreement/Contract between St. Croix County and the DNR: Jason Kjeseth,
21 Community Development Director, jason.kjeseth@sccwi.gov; 715-386-4673; and
22 - Submit required reports to the DNR to satisfy the Agreement/Contract: George Ballard,
23 Parks Administrator, george.ballardgsccwi.gov; 715-245-1154; and
24 - Submit reimbursement requests to the DNR: Denice Kistner, Financial Associate II,
25 denice.kistnerksccwi.gov; 715-531-1904; and
26 - Sign and submit other required documentation that maybe required for your specific
27 project: Jason Kjeseth, Community Development Director, jason.kjeseth a,sccwi.gov;
28 715-386-4673.

30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that St. Croix County will comply with all local, state,
31 and federal rules, regulations, and ordinances relating to this project and the cost -share
32 Agreement/Contract.
