Executive Committee of the Community Justice Collaborating Council – Regular Meeting – June 9, 2016 12:00 PM Minutes stand approved by Judge Lundell. RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. CJCC and Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant 2016 Budget Mike O'Keefe provided an update. The 2016 CJCC & TAD Budget is on track and within budget guidelines. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Agenda Items for CJCC Council Meeting - August 11, 2016 Agenda items for the CJCC meeting on August 11, 2016; 1.) ALICE Training for non- county members, 2.) Dementia Friendly Training - Justice System, 3.) Subcommittee Reports, 4.) Correctional Offender Management Profiling for Alternative Sanction (COMPAS) Issues, 5.) 2016 CJCC & TAD Budgets Update, 6.) Lethality Assessment Presentation, 7.) 2017 TAD Grant Presentation - Lisa Multhauf, Kim Kitzberger and Mike O'Keefe RESULT: DISCUSSED 3. CJCC & Drug Court Office Space Update Pulled from agenda. RESULT: NO ACTION 4. 2017 Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant Application Review Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator reported the Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant is due on July 19, 2016 at 11:59 p.m.. He also provided an update on the Correctional Offender Management Profiling for Alternative Sanctions (COMPAS) referrals and a statistical breakdown for 2014 & 2015. Discussion was held on COMPAS referrals and the need to expand the use of this tool. Lisa Multhauf provided an update on the TAD budget details. Kim Kitzberger provided an update as to the requested support position and data monitoring. She also stated that UA monitoring was requested in the TAD Grant Request. Lisa provided a breakdown on training being included in the grant request. Mike provided an update on the COMPAS Assessor's position. The grant application is being reviewed by Eric Biltonen, UW Extension Office for grammar and then it will be submitted to Judge Waterman to review. Roger Larson motions to approve grant. Pat Thompson seconds motion. Motion carried.
