1. Executive Committee of the Community Justice Collaborating Council – Regular
Meeting – September 22, 2016 12:00 PM
Minutes were accepted as presented.

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. CJCC and Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant Budgets
Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator discussed the CJCC and Treatment Alternatives &
Diversion (TAD) Grant budgets for 2016. All budget line items are within projections to
date.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. 2017 Treatment Alternatives & Diversion Grant/Project Update
Discussion was held on progress made on implementation of the 2017 Treatment
Alternatives & Diversion Grant. The Drug Court Administrative Assistant's position
should be posted sometime in November in anticipation of hiring on January 1, 2017.
Mike O'Keefe reported he is working on the COMPAS Assessor's contract position and
he will be the back up to this person.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. 2016 Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant - 3rd Quarter Report
Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator discussed the 3rd Quarter Treatment Alternatives &
Diversion (TAD) Grant report submitted to the WI Department of Justice.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. CJCC Subcommittee Updates
Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator reported that the Community Engagement
Subcommittee met and will meet again in November after the full CJCC Council
Meeting. The purpose of this Subcommittee may be to become a platform to address
community issues as they arise. They may also look at arrests, prosecution, and statistics
within the County Criminal Justice System. The Evidence Based Decision Making
(EBDM) Subcommittee will meet on November 2, 2016 and the Domestic Violence
(DV) Subcommittee is going to meet and discuss a needs assessment for the County prior
to implementation of a DV Compliance Court.

5. Agenda Items for CJCC Council Meeting - November 10, 2016
Agenda items for the next CJCC Council Meeting; Subcommittee reports, budgets and
Drug Court update.
