BUSINESS ITEMS
1. CJCC & Treatment Alternatives & Diversion (TAD) Grant Budget
Administrator Pat Thompson met with CJCC Coordinator Mike O'Keefe reference the
2016 CJCC/Treatment Alternative & Diversion Grant Budget (TAD). The TAD Budget
request is up from last year's amount due to a request from the District Attorney's Office
to increase the Division Outreach Worker Position from half time to full time. The TAD
Grant currently pays for this half time position and if approved to full time the grant
would pay for half of the employee benefits package and the County would pay for the
other half of salaries. Mr. Thompson stated he will probably forward this proposal as
presented, but all new position requests must be reviewed. The TAD Grant application
for 2016 will be open for submission in October 2015 and will be a collaborative effort
between the CJCC Coordinator, Diversion Program Coordinator, and Drug Court
Coordinator.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. CJCC Citizen Member Vacancy
Barry Hill, CJCC Citizen Member resigned due to personal reasons. This position was
advertised on the County Website for one week with no applications received. Judge
Lundell recommended looking through past applications to see if there is any interest.
Pat Thompson suggests keeping the application process open for an additional week and
he will inform Jackie Montreal. Mr. Thompson recommends having potential applicants
attend the next CJCC Executive Committee Meeting in October, 2015. Pat Thompson
made a motion to have potential applicants appear a the next CJCC Executive Committee
