Executive Committee of the Community Justice Collaborating Council – Regular Meeting – September 10, 2015 12:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. CJCC and Treatment Alternatives & Diversion Grant (TAD) Mike O'Keefe, CJCC Coordinator presented the CJCC and Treatment Alternatives & Treatment (TAD) Budget through August 2015. Discussion was held on the upcoming budget process for CJCC & TAD budgets. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. CJCC Citizen Member Vacancy The application for the CJCC Citizen Member vacancy was held open an additional week and there are two applicants being interviewed for the vacancy today. Applicant Trent Monahan interviewed by CJCC Executive Committee Members. Judge Lundell invites Mr. Monahan to attend future CJCC Committee meetings. Applicant Randy Morrissette interviewed by CJCC Executive Committee Members. Recommendation will by made at the October 22, 2015 CJCC Council Meeting. Mike O'Keefe recommends one application remain on file. Pat Thompson recommends Randy Morrissette. Pat Thompson motions Randy Morrissette be the CJCC Citizen Member. Roger Larson seconds motion and vote is unanimous. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Patrick Thompson, County Administrator SECONDER: Roger Larson, Supervisor AYES: Patrick Thompson, Roger Larson, Eric Johnson, Eric Lundell 3. CJCC Future Agenda Items - Agenda items for next CJCC Meeting on October 22, 2015: 1. TAD Grant submission for 2016 due November 10, 2015 - Mike O'Keefe 2. CJCC & TAD Grant -current - Mike O'Keefe 3 .Strategic planning - CJCC Council 4. Sub-Committees for CJCC - Mike O'Keefe 5. 17 year-old potential law change to bring back to juvenile system - Fred Johnson RESULT: DISCUSSED REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE ADJOURN Meeting was adjourned by Judge Lundell at 1:21 p.m. DATE OF NEXT MEETING The next CJCC Executive Committee Meeting is Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 12:00 PM, - Room D203 at the Government Center. The next CJCC Council meeting will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the New Richmond Service Center, Room at 8:00 AM, Room 171.
