APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Community Justice Collaborating Council Regular Meeting July 14, 2022 8:00 AM
Minutes approved.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Yvonne Larsen provided public comment, discussing Shop with a Cop (Sheriff's Dept.). Over 100
children participated. Officers from departments all over the county participated.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Recognition of Liesl Nelson & WATCP Award
Judge Waterman recognized the work of Liesl Nelson and her award at WATCP.
2. Government Center Renovation Update.
County Administrator Witt provided an update on the Government Center renovations.
3. Treatment Court Update.
Treatment Court Coordinator Kait Breuer provided an updated on the two TRACs
merging. Also discussed graduations.
4. TAD Grant Update.
Justice Support Services (JSS) updated on the TAD Grant Application process.
5. Justice Support Services Update.
JSS updated on new staff hire and MRT facilitation.
6. Justice Support Services Partnership with UW-Madison
JSS updated on partnership with UW-Madison.
7. Presentation on Healthcare Wing & Withdrawal Management
Health & Human Services Director Bob Rohret presented on withdrawal management
project in St. Croix Co.
8. Presentation on Huber Program.
This agenda item has been tabled until a later meeting.
9. CJCC & Subcommittees aligning with County Strategic Plan
JSS asked the committee members how the CJCC may align with county strategic goal
#1 (community well-being).
