MINUTES
PLANNING, ZONING AND PARKS COMMITTEE
St. Croix County Government Center, Hudson, WI
February 13, 2002
PRESENT: Supervisors Art Jensen, Gerald Larson, Buck Malick and Linda Luckey (1:57). Staff
present, David Fodroczi, Steve Fisher, Joe Grant, Chuck Whiting, Deb Kathan. Present on behalf
of Springsted, Nick Dragosich and Mike Hoheisel.
Administrative Coordinator Whiting called the meeting to order at 1:12 p.m.
He and the Springsted representatives explained their expectations for departmental participation in
the organizational study. They hope to have delivery of the requested information on Friday,
February 22. They hope to have a recap available for supervisors in advance of the April 23rd
strategy session.
In response to questions, they amplified the instructions on page 3 of their January 15 tth!memo.
Core requirements of Mission:
Financial resources- name the sources of funds and give the 2002 department budget total.
Capital resources- the big things, e.g. buildings and types of equipment (office, lawn, etc.)
Measuring progress- report any numerical standards or indices already in use
Core requirements for Job:
These should be essentially updated summaries of every existing position description.
