CALL TO ORDER Sue Lindberg called meeting to order at 1pm
ROLL CALL: Panel members present, Rich Olson, Jamie Turner, Marla Butler, Paula Lugar, Stephanie
Larson, Lindsey Greer, Mikayla Swanson, Sue Lindberg
Excused absence: Bill Scholz and Ben Tomandl.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. August 15, 2017: August 15th meeting minutes were approved as read by panel members.
PUBLIC COMMENT There were no public comments.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. State meeting update: Marla Butler gave an update on the Oct.23rd State Citizen Review Panel Meeting.
ACE’s and Resiliency were discussed. Bill and Ben also attended the state meeting.
2. Budget update: There is $10,000.00 in the CRP budget. The fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th.
3. New brochure approval: Group review latest version and would like to add some county CPS statistics
to the brochure. Discussion held.
4. Work plan for 2018: The panel would like to invite our county Guardian ad Litems to a meeting. Would
we want to host the movie Paper Tigers somewhere in our county? Discussion held.
5. Members signed new confidentiality agreements.

ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE:
Rich and other Bikers against Child Abuse (BACA) members gave a presentation to the Health and
Humans Service’s staff on Nov. 14th.
Marla gave a presentation to a Viking Middle school class on the Shaken Baby Syndrome doll that we
provided to the school district.
Sue read a Thank-you from the New Richmond School district for the Shaken Baby Syndrome doll that
the Citizen Review Panel gave them.
Family Resource Center is expanding.
Turing Point has a new Children’s and Youth Services Coordinator.
Western WI Health has a new Pediatrician and is hosting a Make it OK training.
There is an upcoming training on Mental Health First Aid at WITC.
DATE OF NEXT MEETING: December 19th 11:30 am at the Family Resource Center.
Proposed closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1) (f) to consider and discuss the medical, social, and
personal history of an abused and/or neglected minor child.
Marla proposed a motion to go into closed session. Paula seconded the motion.
Reconvene into open session Panel may take action under discussion on in closed session and/or report action
taken today in closed session, if any.
ADJOURN THE MEETING: Meeting adjourned at 1:10 pm.
A quorum of the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors (County Board) may be present at this
meeting. Therefore, this notice also serves as notice of a meeting of the County Board for the purpose of
obtaining information relating to subjects listed above for use at future County Board meetings.
