St. Croix County Citizen Review Panel
February 20, 2018, 11:30

CALL TO ORDER: Ben Tomandl lead the meeting
ROLL CALL: Marla Butler, Lindsey Greer, Mikayla Swanson, Jamie Turner, Ben Tomandl
PUBLIC COMMENTS: NONE
BUSINESS ITEMS:
1. Budget update: Ben reported that he met with Bill Scholz. Bill received information from DHHS
finance that we do in fact have the $10,000 available.
2. Work plan update: continued until next meeting, as Paula was not at the meeting.
3. Brochure: We discussed that the phone number on the brochure should change and we should
add an “additional resources” section including CPS, turning point, family resource center and
their phone numbers. It was decided that we should order a low number of brochures. It was
discussed that we should put our Facebook page/link on it if/when we get one.
4. Child abuse prevention displays: Hammond, Roberts and Baldwin libraries are on board. Still
waiting on Hudson, River Falls and Woodville. Baldwin hospital said that a small wall display is
ok.
5. BACA update on county fair booth: BACA not represented at meeting.
6. Child Abuse Prevention month: Yes Sue can order supplies
7. New CSP position request: both the foster care and assessment worker position approved.
8. Quarterly CPS case staffing: Ben will ask someone to come to present. Marla will send Ben a
question guide for presenting cases.
