St. Croix County Citizen Review Panel

CALL TO ORDER By Sue Lindberg
ROLL CALL Members present. Ben, Sunshine, Marla, Jamie, Sue.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. July 17,2018 Minutes were approved.
PUBLIC COMMENT None
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Fair Booth Update:( BACA) Sunshine gave an update on the fair booth. Less vendors this year. No one
signed up for wanting to join the panel. It was good for outreach and resources. The social media
magnets were popular.
2. State Meeting Update: Postponed until next month. Members who attended were not at
Bill and Phoenix attended. Sue did share with the panel members notes from Phoenix about the state
meeting.
3. There is a new state coordinator.
4. Budget update: Postponed to next meeting.
5. Magnets and coloring books on Good Touch and Bad Touch were
given out at the fair booth. Sue brought the coloring books on Good Touch and Bad Touch and the
social media magnets to panel members today to hand out in the community.
6. Does our panel want bylaws? The group worked on by-laws for our CRP today. Sue to bring copies for
group to review next month. We looked at the by-
7. CPS protocols and MOU The Panel members reviewed the County CPS MOU with Law enforcement
agencies for Child Abuse and Neglect Cases.
8. Work plan for 2019: Panel members discussed a work plan for 2019.
Three items we would like to work on are: 1.Recruitment of more CRP members. 2. CRP Facebook
page promotion and resources on it. 3. Invite the new Start Coordinator to meet with us.
9. Sharing: Marla: FRC is hiring a new Parent Educator. Ben: The foster parent recruitment and retention
team is meeting weekly. About 12 people are on the team.
REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENGA ITEMS: Review bylaws. Discuss state meeting. Finalize work plan
for 2019. Sue will ask Aubrey if she wants to join the panel. Budget update.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE

DATE OF NEXT MEETING: October 16, 2018 Future meeting dates will be Nov. 20 and Jan. 15. We
will not meet in December.
Proposed closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1) (f) to consider and discuss the medical, social, and
personal history of an abused and/or neglected minor child.
Case review. None reviewed.
Reconvene into open session Panel may take action under discussion on in closed session and/or report action
taken today in closed session, if any.
ADJOURN THE MEETING: Meeting adjourned at 1:00pm.
A quorum of the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors (County Board) may be present at this
meeting. Therefore, this notice also serves as notice of a meeting of the County Board for the purpose of
obtaining information relating to subjects listed above for use at future County Board meetings.
