CROIX COUNTY SERVICES CENTER – ROOM #172 1752 DORSET LANE, NEW RICHMOND, WI CALL TO ORDER: By Chair Gohr at 9:03 AM ROLL CALL: Jody Gohr, Vallard Logan, Toni Chambers, Julie K Johnson, Kathy Wochomurka, Fay Strenke, Carrie Doehrmann, Dawn Campbell, Aaron Long, Adam Delikowski, Deena Black, Lisa Thibodeau Excused: Julie Johnson ADOPTION OF AGENDA: Motion by Wochomurka 2nd by Thibodeau to approve the agenda as submitted. Agenda is approved. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by Black 2nd by Long to approve the previous Minutes. Minutes are approved. DATE OF NEXT MEETING: October 27, 2017 9-10:30 AM OLD AND NEW BUSINESS: 1. CCS Enrollment Data: Doehrmann reported there are 62 service recipients 44 youth, 18 adults. Two new adult facilitators are trained in and beginning to take cases. 2. Review of any new member referrals to the Coordination Committee: Gohr introduced Vallard Logan. 3. Updates from Work Groups – Quality Improvement: Recent discussion with Center for Independent Living (CIL) and plans for the surveys have been finalized, including doing the participant survey. Provider survey group is finalizing the details of the provider survey. As soon as the QI work group gets the contact information for providers they will send out emails with the Survey Monkey link. Provider survey was reviewed. Campbell reports on some recent tools she is aware of Wisconsin Recovery Pulse and Wisconsin Recovery Thermometer. These are tools available from Division of Care and Treatment services that can be used to gauge a person’s recovery. 4. Discussion on developing CCS Provider Networking meetings: Discussion around giving providers an opportunity for providers to meet and do some networking and learn from each other. Discussed what some other counties are doing. Suggestions of having a kickoff meeting that providers would come to and identify their needs. Thibodeau and Campbell will work on this. 5. Discussion on Regional Coordination Committee: Delikowski presented on suggestions and outstanding issues for the structure for the Regional Coordination Committee. 6. Updates from State CCS Conference: Campbell, Gohr, and Delikowski attended. The CCS statewide meeting was combined with the CST statewide meeting. A lot of the focus was around youth. The state is wanting to move to a more seamless delivery of mental health services and is promoting the coordination of CCS and CST. One of the break out groups focused on diversity. Another breakout was Honest Open and Proud (HOP). This is a program that works on breaking down the stigmas that surround people who are affected by mental health issues. Updates from CCS Fiscal Staff: Eau Claire County and St. Croix County have combined their rate setting tools into one. Providers who have completed rates with one county or the other, will be able to submit that calculated rate for review without having to complete a new form. Fiscal is working on setting 2018 rates and moving forward with 2018 contracts. 8. CCS picnic work group: Report out on the success of the Eau Claire county picnic. 50 service recipients and families along with Eau Claire County staff were present. Had music and food. Well attended. Service recipients were very appreciative. ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE 1. Suicide Prevention, Train the Community QPR September 28, 2017 5 to 7PM at Sacred Heart Hospital Monsignor Klimek Auditorium. 2. Inspiring the Caregiver’s Soul, October 18th 5:30-7:30 Sleep Inn & Suites Eau Claire 3. Children Come First Conference. November 13th and 14th. Glacier Canyon. 4. Mental Health and Substance Recovery – UW Stevens Point October 24th and 25th. Early registration closed here in Sept.
