NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA
Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Coordination Committee
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27 9:00

CALL TO ORDER by Vice Chair Johnson at 9:08 am.
ROLL CALL Julie Johnson, Toni Chambers, Carrie Doehrmann, Vallard Logan, Dawn
Campbell, Liz Pizzi, Fay Strenke,
APPROVAL OF MINUTES from September 22, 2017. Motion by Chambers 2nd by
Thibodeau. Motion approved.
PUBLIC COMMENT none
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. CCS Enrollment Data We have 59 CCS recipients, 18 adult and 39 youth. There are
several pending enrollments.
2. Review of any new member referrals to the Coordination Committee, Thibodeau
introduced Liz Pizzi who is currently working at WITC.
3. Development of training guidelines for Coordination Committee Members with lived
experience. Discussion on the need for developing policy. Some ideas for consideration
are training approvals, criteria, types of reimbursement, etc. To be addressed at the
next committee meeting.
4. Discussion on development of work group in coordination with Eau Claire County for
Peers and Peer-Parents to collaborate, discuss, and enhance their voice. Recommended to
table this until Adam is present to provide more specific information.
5. Updates from Work Groups – Quality Improvement. Work group discussed surveys.
Looking to get some people from UW who can do this in 2018. Want to ensure that
resources are available as the program continues to grow. Questions about using
certified peer specialists or others who have been trained to complete the survey. This
will be brought back to the QA committee for response. It was discussed that face to
face with someone with experience would be more beneficial.
6. Discussion on developing CCS Provider Networking meetings. As we expand our
provider base and have a lot of new providers there is a big learning curve. The goal is
provide opportunity to network with other providers. The initial meeting will be held
December 1st at the St. Croix Services Center from 10 to 11:30. The group can discuss
where to meet going forward, frequency and future agenda items.
7. Updates from CCS Fiscal Staff. Continuing to work on 2018 CCS rates.
8. CCS picnic planning. Will continue to discuss each month
REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS. Address reimbursement policy for training,
update from QA for consideration of UW being involved in the survey process; collection of
data interpretation and use of those previously trained in the administration of the state
required tools. Committee member recruitment.

ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
1. Children Come First Conference. November 13th and 14th. Glacier Canyon.
2. CCS 101 and CCS Progress Note Training November 3rd, 8 am to 4:30 pm SCCSC
3. Make IT Okay Ambassador Training November 1st.
4. Honest, Open, Proud, SCCSC December 6th, 9:30 to 3:3, Must RSVP, there are only
20 spots available.
5. Mental Health first aide through United Way.
