Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Coordination Committee

CALL TO ORDER meeting called to order at 9:05 by Chair Gohr

PUBLIC COMMENT none
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. CCS Enrollment Data: There are 103 current recipients 75 youth and 28 adults
2. Review of any new member referrals to the Coordination Committee: Motion by

Black 2 by Wochomurka to approve adding Carol Atkinson to the CCS
coordination Committee.
3. Election of Officers, Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary: Nominations for Secretary,

Doehrmann, motion by Black, 2 by Wochomurka. Motion approved.

Nominations for Vice Chair, Black, Motion by Strenke, 2 by Pizzi, Motion
Approved.

Nominations for Chair, Johnson, Motion by Long, 2 by Wick, Motion Approved.
4. Update regarding expansion of Shared Services Model: State approved our expansion
request to add Barron County to our CCS shared services model- Barron, Eau Claire,
St Croix (BESt). Barron continues to work on their application, they expect it to be
submitted by the end of the month.
5. Updates from Work Groups Quality Improvement: Group is involving service
facilitators in talking up the process and explaining the importance to service
recipients. Surveys have been digitalized and put on survey monkey. Exploring the
option of purchasing some IPADS to have available for recipients to take the survey
online. Looking into option of having office hours where peer support specialists will
be available on site.
6. Updates from CCS Fiscal Staff : Progress note review moving to review by fiscal will
begin in September. We will begin sending out notices to providers who need to
submit updated rates for 2019.
7. Discussion on Committee Member Recruitment: Updates to flyers by asking questions
about why people would want to be involved and providing statistics. Provide vision of
CCS. Asking people to help make a difference. Groups to recruit from include, law
enforcement, first responders, Kiwanis, churches. Looking for ideas for goals for the
committee to address. Suggested that everyone bring back an idea regarding
goal/focus for committee and recruitment for the next month. Such as a recruitment
event.

meeting. Therefore, this notice also serves as notice of a meeting of the County Board for the
purpose of obtaining information relating to subjects listed above for use at future County Board
Meetings.
